One afternoon I was going through the fridge and discovered I still had some ginger syrup floating around in there so I decided to, you guessed it, make a cocktail! To my delight (haha, see what I did there) it turned out to be delish! Ginger is a really strong flavor and can quickly turn a good drink bad if not used in the correct proportion. Of course, the correct proportion is really a matter of your own, personal preference. For me, this was the right balance between all the flavors in this drink. Give it a try!
Lime-Ginger Gin Delight
2 oz gin (something with a neutral flavor profile such as Beefeater or Tanqueray)
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz ginger syrup
3-4 oz San Pellegrino
