Local also means I look for companies who use products sourced from growers and farmers who are local to their areas. This not only supports their local communities, but gives optimal flavor and freshness to the final products. Second, no artificial colors and preservatives. This is not your mothers mixer! And finally, taste! If it doesn’t taste great and make a fantastic cocktail, then there would be no point in doing what I do.

Answer: Here at Tipsy Cocktail Supply Co. I have sought out and tried out the glassware based on certain criteria. First, it is made in the USA. Second, it has to be durable and functional, and I have used the glassware myself to make sure it is. Finally, it has to be lead free, which it is. All the glassware chosen meets these criteria and while they can be run through the dishwasher, I do recommend hand washing the glasses. As much as I hate to because I do not like handwashing dishes, it just really adds to the longevity of the glassware. Mainly because the glass gets that cloudy film on them when run through the dishwasher too many times. Even when using a rinsing agent I still get it because where I live there are a lot of minerals in the water. And we have soft water as well! So again, I recommend hand washing these glasses if you want to make them last.
